How MaxSprint handles athlete profiles, sprint workouts, timing, health context and optional Cloud features.

Last updated: 21 August 2026

Information MaxSprint may process

MaxSprint may process athlete profile details such as name, primary event and performance times; planned and completed workouts; repetitions, target and actual times, splits, recovery, intensity and timing source; readiness questionnaire responses; preferences; device connectivity state; and diagnostics needed to operate or troubleshoot the app.

Health and fitness data

With your permission, MaxSprint may read relevant information from Apple Health, including sleep, resting heart rate and heart-rate variability, and may save workout information. Apple Watch workouts may include heart-rate samples and summaries. MaxSprint uses permitted information to show training and recovery context, support workout execution and maintain your training record.

Health access is controlled in Apple Health and device settings. MaxSprint does not use these signals to provide diagnosis or medical advice.

On-device storage

Core athlete profiles, workouts, history, templates, plans and settings may be stored locally on iPhone and Apple Watch so normal athlete workflows do not require a Cloud account. Some transfers between your paired devices or a nearby authorised coach device use local device communication. Interrupted transfers may resume when a connection becomes available.

Account and MaxSprint Cloud

A MaxSprint Cloud account is optional for normal athlete use. If you create one, MaxSprint may process your email address, authentication identifiers, account state, synced athlete profile, workouts and Watch access information. Cloud sync can protect supported data, restore it on a new iPhone and enable coach linking.

The app provides Sync Now and account deletion controls. Data stored only on a device is separate from Cloud data and may not be removed by deleting the Cloud account.

Athlete and coach linking

Where coach features are available, an athlete may choose to link with a coach using a QR-based flow. Linked data may include athlete identity and status, assigned sessions, completed workout information, results and timing context needed for planning and review. Do not share linking codes publicly.

How information is used

Information is used to build and execute workouts, calculate athlete-relative targets, capture and reconcile timing, present history and analysis, provide training context, synchronise selected features, deliver coach assignments where enabled, maintain accounts, restore data, respond to support and improve reliability.

Service providers

MaxSprint relies on Apple for app distribution, purchases, device services and Health access. Optional authentication, Cloud storage and synchronisation use third-party hosted infrastructure. Those providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy practices. MaxSprint does not receive your full App Store payment-card details.

Your choices

You can use core athlete features without creating a Cloud account, control Health and Bluetooth permissions in device settings, decide whether to link a coach, sign out, request a manual sync, and manage Apple subscriptions through your Apple Account. Disabling a permission may make the related feature unavailable.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains until removed through the app or device lifecycle. Cloud information is retained while needed to provide the account and related features or meet applicable obligations. The in-app Cloud deletion flow is designed to remove sign-in, coach link and synchronised profile and workout data; locally stored workouts and Apple subscriptions require separate action.
